A month and a half ago my husband and I got the cutest new dog named Zeke! He is a 2 year old Aussiedoodle and is the sweetest! He has had some anxiety with all his new transitions, so we wanted to find some ways to help him. Zeke has become a big fan of essential oils and it has been so cute and rewarding to see him enjoy the benefits of them.
DIY Calming Dog Spray Recipe
- 8oz Spray Bottle
- Lavender: 6 Drops
- Wild Orange: 4 Drops
- Peppermint: 4 Drops
- Eucalyptus: 2 Drop
- Distilled Water
- Labels
Add oils in the 8oz spray bottle. Then fill up the rest with distilled water. Distilled water is great because it helps the shelf life of your DIY projects! This recipe is heavily diluted so it works good for big or small pets 🙂
Shake before each use. When using this spray, be sure to avoid sensitive areas like your pet’s face, eyes, inside of ears, etc. You can always spray the mix on your hands and then rub in their fur!
To see how we use this DIY Calming Dog Spray on our dog Zeke, watch the video below! It’s important with essential oils to use the highest quality of oils made for their safety. Thats why we pick doTERRA essential oils for our doggy. You can find out more about doTERRA’s testing on their oils here.
Thanks for stopping by today, have a great one!
